Friends, I have had such a great run in life and business. I have been an artist my entire life, and have also gone down many different entrepreneurial paths involving my art and writing. For ten years I was known as Single Dad Laughing and grew a social following of millions, focusing on my writing, blogging, and artwork.
I have now focused my efforts on humanitarian work, funded through my art and stickers sales here in The Dan Pearce Sticker Shop. For the foreseeable future, 100% of my profits from this company will go to fund humanitarian trips with my son, friends, and others, as well as mental health charities.
In April of 2021, I donated $8,000 from my Sticker Shop's sales to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. Mental health awareness is very important to me, and it is my pleasure to support incredible causes wherever I can.
Before profits can be had in order to donate them, I am pleased to bring incredible jobs to others where I can. I currently have two full-time employees who are absolutely incredible and will take awesome care of you.
Why donate all of it?
I truly believe that when the universe has been good to you... You should be good to the universe. I have more than enough to live a happy, fully, comfortable life at this point.
I have also been an absolute workaholic since I was a teenager. It is a very real addiction for me, and I greatly desire to step outside of myself for a good long while and focus on what really matters, all while still being able to bring incredible value to others through the products I am selling.
Will I ever take profits?
Yes, I believe so. Absolutely. Once this sticker shop grows big enough that it supplies at least two people with jobs, annual donations to my favorite charities, and is able to fund at least a couple humanitarian trips each year, I will take profits.
I have poured thousands of hours into the building of this Sticker Shop business and all sorts of investment. I do believe in the American dream of enjoying the fruits of your hard-earned labors. I also believe it's among every parent's greatest hopes to pass on some sort of security to their children.
All I ask of you...
Do me a favor and order an extra sticker or three with each and every order. It's a few bucks for you, but a lot of people doing it will bring a lot of extra goodness into the world. You'd be amazed how quickly $5-10 extra from each order can stack up into an incredible pot that can do all sorts of amazing things.
How can you know I'm sincere?
First, you're just going to have to trust me. My integrity is everything to me. I think in this world we need more trust.
Second, I have decided to have fun with this and be public about it simply to encourage others to find their own ways of adding to the world. What humanitarian work have you done so far?
As of right now, I have only donated money to incredible charities. Unfortunately, at the same time I dedicated myself to humanitarian work, COVID-19 hit and canceled all my plans. As of right now (April 2021) I don't know when my first trip will be due to the world still having lots of coronavirus struggles, but if you follow me on social media, I will document my trips whenever I go.
